Sales Lead Developer

Summary: Identifies and sets qualified prospect meetings among ORC’s target companies for the field Sales Directors. Successful performance is measured by the number of qualified opportunities and sales generated from scheduled meetings.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

-   Develops and maintains a proficient understanding of ORC's capabilities so as to articulate these capabilities in a professional manner with prospects.

-   Conducts screening and qualifying calls to targeted companies with the goal of identiying spending levels (or proxies); key buy-points and decision-makers; and  research interest and needs

-   Schedules and arranges teleconference and in-person qualified meetings for Sales Directors with the aim of maximizing their travel-time efficiencies.

-   Prepares and enters complete and accurate documentation of conversations and actions with target customers into the new Microsoft CRM.

-   Assists Sales Directors in preparing and delivering relevant sales materials for introductions and/or follow-up with prospects.

-   Conducts follow-up calls, as requested by the Sales Directors.

-   Ability to tailor the conversation and ORC’s capabilities to the individual needs and interests of each prospect

-   Familiarity with CRM systems

-   Proficiency in the internet as a research tool

-   Excellent phone communication presentation skills

-   Telephone selling skills

Education and/or Experience:                                                 

-   2-3 years experience selling B2B services or as a B2B or B2C customer service representative

 

Language Skills – Level 4

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

 

Mathematical Skills –   Level 2

Basic Skills:  Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

                       

Reasoning Ability Level 4

High Skills:  Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

                       

Computer Skills:                                             

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools
