SVP, Customer Strategies

This is an opportunity for an energetic, entrepreneurial-type individual to play a significant role in expanding this core issue area that is experiencing significant growth. The individual should be looking to participate on a high-performing team that is in high demand internally and externally. The ability to contribute to the growth of this practice through thought leadership, methodological insight and new business development will determine the success of this individual.
Primary Duties
- Significant responsibility for developing new client relationships and expanding existing relationships
- Provide thought leadership in the area of customer strategies – create new methodologies, author white papers and serve as expert speaker
- Provide fact-based solutions to clients in the areas of:
· Customer strategies including aspects such as: customer satisfaction and loyalty, customer value, NPS, linkages (i.e., employee, brand, behaviors, operational metrics, financial metrics, etc.)
· And, secondarily, brand equity and positioning, brand identity, brand architecture, brand analytics
- Actively participate in strategic management of the practice
Essential Skills and Personality
- Proven track record in business development and relationship extensions
- Able to assess internal and external situations and strategically determine how to leverage the opportunity
- Able to creatively apply market research tools to address business issues
- Excellent written and oral communicator
- Dynamic speaker and presenter
- Able to effectively manage people and processes in a highly matrixed environment along with a track record in providing strategic direction for the growth of a practice
- Seasoned in qualitative and quantitative analyses
- Possesses significant experience with both B2B and B2C research.
Experience – 15+ years in one of the two following roles
- Market research provider experience in a client-facing role
- Other agency or consultancy experience leveraging market and/or business research on behalf of clients
Education – Graduate degree preferred
