Market Research Telephone Interviewer--Work at Home

Objective:
To collect complete, accurate, and unbiased telephone survey data.
Essential Job Duties:
· Collects unbiased and accurate telephone survey data
· Reads questionnaires verbatim
· Makes an effort to meet or exceed productivity goals set by management
· Uses proper interviewing techniques
· Records respondents’ responses with 100% accuracy
· Knows and adheres to data collection Quality Assurance standards
· Ability to work assigned work shifts with a high degree of flexibility and dependability
· Ensures confidentiality of the client and of the respondent’s answers
· Performs other duties as required
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities Required:
· Excellent communication skills both written and oral
· Ability to understand and follow instructions required of the survey
· Demonstrates a professional and positive attitude both on and off the telephone
· Ability to set in front of a PC monitor for extended periods of time
· Computer/data entry/keyboard skills
· Fluency in English is required. Fluency in other languages is a plus.
Technology Requirements
· Quiet, private work space. Have a home office environment that is professional and free from background noise and distractions. No pets or children in the background.
· Home PC. Web browser Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher and 512K+ RAM (memory)
· High speed internet connection. 1.5mbs+ such as cable modem or fiber optic
· Land line phone service. Cell, VOIP (i.e. Vonage) and cable phones are not allowed. This should be a dedicated phone line separate from your home phone. Calling features on the phone line, such as call waiting, and call blocking are not allowed.
· Corded telephone. Plus a corded (not wireless) telephone headset with a noise-canceling microphone is required.
· Instant message account. MSN is required.
· Direct Deposit. Must have a bank account with direct deposit, so payments can be automatically deposited into employees account.
