ORC serves public agencies throughout the U.S. with complete, on-premise capabilities, ensuring adherence to the highest methodological rigor and excellence. Our experience extends to city, county, state and federal agencies, as well as to private and public utilities.

We have also worked with more than 200 public agencies on studies covering a range of urban issues, including transportation, land use planning, public service use and satisfaction, recreation, safety, and the relationships that exist between them. We conduct scientific quantitative research through in-person surveys, administered large-scale telephone surveys, and in-depth qualitative research through mini-groups, focus groups, and stakeholder interviews. Studies have spanned customer behavior, customer and citizen satisfaction, attitudes and perceptions of agencies, strategic visioning, internal / external organizational assessment, wayfinding exercises, and concept / idea testing.

The Opinion Research Northwest division of ORC holds a GSA MOBIS Schedule: SIN 874-3: Survey Services and is a member of the Transportation Research Board, American Public Transportation Association, Women's Transportation Seminar, and the National League of Cities.
